I am not a collector but I have a question. I am selling my kids cars collection on ebay and I guess I should have researched it before listing but what cars are people looking for? because the bids are going up up up not that I'm complaining I'm just curious of what car it is that they "want" out of the ones I have.

Cars 1 is hot right now because tehyare not in production but the younger kids want them becasue of the release of the 2nd movie.

Cars 2 cars are only hot when they are newly released..

be upfront on your listing about chipped paint if they are loose…you don't want a collector slamming you…

Final lap car in package like Race damaged mood springs, dexter hoover with checkered flag, polly puddle jumper, mater blowing bubbles, antonio velocce were hard to find whent hey were released…they probably fetch the most…

Chase cars a good too, especially luigi and guido with paint cans on US card back…

Cars 1 megas/deluxe can go good on eBay if you have a carded or loose bessie or frank…there are also some that were never released in the US

There are several longtime members here that know a lot more, I'm sure they will share their advice…this is jsut what I've seen in the past..

From what I have seen on Ebay, the lots with the Blue Dinoco Hauler, Green Chick Hicks Hauler, Lizzie, Damaged King, Mrs. The King, and others like Dunroamin mentioned seem to sell for high too! Wish I could see your listing! Laugh

Luckily i found frank once, there were like 6 more of them too. If i would have known how rare they would be i would have grabbed all of them. I wonder when the next hard to find car like bessie or frank will come out…

Well, sure he's hard to find now…..considering that he hasn't been released yet.
