Hi, welcome to the forum!  That's great that you can do this with your daughter. My son (now 6 1/2) and I enjoyed this together since he was 2 1/2. I am trying to finish up collecting, period, but can't find any Rip C's. I'd love to trade you 4 from your needs list for 3 of your Rips. If you want to trade car for car, then I may be able to come up with one more Cars 1 car from your list, but will have to check. I have 2 Chukis on card, 1 loose, new Fred (the original release with larger size), and 1 Galloping Geargrinder on card. Are you an opener? If not I can grade the cards. I intend to keep one Rip on nice card, and give the other two to my son and nephew to open. I'm at mchlphff AT gmail.com

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the delay. I was unable to get on the computer yesterday. So to answer some of the questions above: what I do is I try to collect two or three of each car (depending on the collection), we open one for my daughter to play with and two to collect in the packaging. So because of that I am open to receiving loose cars as well as those in the packaging.
Also just to let you each know, eventhough I am new to this process, I will be very careful with packaging the cars for mailing. I have unfortunately dealt with receiving things I ordered that looked beat-up; I will do my best to aviod that happening to anything I send out.
I will send you either an email (if you supplied it) or a pm.
Thanks for your help in completing my collection. I need list is huge and what is posted above is only a small portion of it…

One question to all those that have done this: what is the process? Once I make an agreement with someone, do we both just mail the cars and trust that the person on the other end is in fact sending it????? I know that sounds pesimistic, but unlike when you sell something and receive payment upfront, we are both sending cars out.
Obviously the "rookie" notation by my name is appropriate.

Yes, that is basically how you do it. It is a self-policing forum, so a person who deliberately doesn't follow through will end up getting in trouble with this and likely with multiple web forums, and possibly legal trouble. We don't often have trouble on here, however. We do have lots and lots of truly great, honest people helping each other out.
