Hi im searching for the disney wooden cars (toys r us exclusive) from the first movie and also the casa della tire track part (its no longer available online and our store doesn't have it :(!!  Im searching for the following if anyone has them for sale (new or used) or happens to see them at your local toys r us you would make my little boy very happy~! 🙂

NEED

*Luigis casa della tires

*the king, chick hicks set

*tractor, blue tow mater set

*red, guido set

*cruising lightening mcqueen and green ramone set

*boost and wingo set

I know this is quite a list but i want to try to avoid amazon/ ebay pricing if i can. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

It's a shame retailers haven't learned to use the UPC for all it's capable of. For instance, I saw the Boost & Wingo set when I was traveling last week. If only ToysRus.com could arrange to locate that for you. That being said, if anyone lives near the Matteson, Illinois TRU, maybe they could stop by and get that for you.

I agree 100% with you, some major retailers are doing it so you would think TRU would do it also to help with sales. It does not surprise me though, they have the worlds worst customer service.

Im honestly not sure. We only started getting the wooden stuff a short while ago and since our store was so picked over i was just going by what i found online. I found a photo of them some where new in package so just assumed they were released. We have a wooden mack, i was not aware that they got recalled, do you know what for?

Oh ok our mack was packaged alone (for about $25 i believe) so we are good lol. I'm constantly looking on ebay and amazon for the casa della tires set (that's the only one we cant find anywhere!) and so far i have had no luck, i almost wonder if that one was not produced as much as the main track set and the mater set because i find those everywhere. I'm also disappointed they didn't make the other sets like Flo's cafe, etc. that would have been awesome! As far as the quality i have noticed its no where compared to the Thomas the train stuff. We purchased the Thomas the train table and track set for my son for Christmas and he never played with it (BIG waste of money) but thankfully Thomas is popular so i was able to get most of my money back on ebay. We decided to get a smaller simple train table and do the cars track because ever since he was 1 he has been obsessed with cars so we thought it would be a better option.  Maybe they will have another 50% off sale soon so i can get him the cars 2 set, i hate to pay full price for it because he really didn't care for that movie like he did the first.

I see a lot of maters tow yard sets too, if only i could come across a luigi set lol!

Woo I called several toys r us stores today until I found one that had the casa Della set (there were only 3 stores showing up in the system) the second one had two left and I got one. It was only $17 shipped!

Thanks so much for all your help Tav75 at least now we know and can stop looking for them lol. There was so much potential with this set and I just don't know what happened. They could have released all the buildings ( like the v8 cafe, Lizzie's shop etc) so that there could of been an entire radiator springs but its like they got lazy and quit putting effort into it and went right into cars 2 stuff :(.
