Mason has now asked 3 different Santas for the "Yellow and Orange Racer from Cars". One Santa was walking back from a lunch break…

Maybe it would hold him if you got a Rip 'placeholder'? There's a Squinkie one and the Disney Store has a $100 set that includes all 11 racers plus a few regular Cars and there's that Cars version of UNO…

Ever notice how Lego very successfully used the same body for their Duplo Shu and Carla? I expect we'll see a Lego Rip on the Francesco body.

Yeah. This will be a tough one. lol. I could paint a Francesco but that would be a pain in the @ss. Great idea though….. I am seriously half tempted to pony up the money on eBay. I will have to think of a AWESOME why Santa can't deliver excuse.

My son who just turned 5 is also Cars crazy insisting Santa would get Rip for him. My sister sent him the Disney 20 piece set for Christmas. He loved it but still waited to open the "real" Rip on Christmas morning. Heartbreaking huh? Hope it is released soon as that is all my son can think about lately ugghhh

It supposedly will be out as a single and a launcher and in an 11-pack this year, but then again, Mattel is not known for things going as planned so I would not bank on it as of yet.
