You can get one on ebay for $1000-$1500. Prices were closer to $1500 last summer but dipped early this year to the $1000 range.

I have a set that I had my daughter purchase for me due to being at a fireworks conference on the day of the sale. I gave her my credit card and had her call at exactly 12 noon. A few weeks later I had my set in hand. Then a month later I got a letter from Mattel informing me that because the sets weren't numbered they were sending me a holographic sticker indicating which set I had. A few days later my wife was cleaning my desk and threw it away. At this point I don't ever see selling it and don't think Mattel would be willing to issue me another sticker.

I saw 2 sets recently for $1500 on ebay and maybe should have pulled the trigger. They were gone within 2 days.
The more I think about it though I know it will be in the $1000 range but I think $1500 is still a little to high. For me personally.
Anyway if there is anyone out there that wants to give this a shot. Let me know.

i just got one a month ago, never displayed, for $1,200. Be patient, the right opportunity will eventually show itself.
