Hi all. My son just turned 5 and is Cars race car obsessed! The movie came out before he was born and he did not get into it until last year. He started collecting the Cars 1 Cars last year just a bit before Easter. This was fun until the Cars 2 merchandise came out and the Cars 1 cars flew off the shelves. We did find quite a few of the Cars on clearance but now he wants more! He has about 15 cars now. I am hoping to find used cars, played with not collectible that is, that somebody is willing to sell cheaper than the $15 minimum I keep finding on ebay or the like. He wants 33 Mood Springs (great crash footage to reinact) #8 Junior, Tank Coat #36, #123 No Stall, #63 transberry juice, #54 Faux wheel drive, #34 trunk fresh etc.

Hi, welcome! It may still be possible to find some of the racers you mention hanging around at KMart, probably in rubber tire format, but also possibly in the old Pit Stop/Pit Row/Pit Race-Off launcher format. I would check all of the KMarts near you before pursuing these online or via a trading forum. You might find them in the Cars aisle, or there could be a separate rack for them in the toys area, or by the check out aisle. Have fun!

If you search eBay for DISNEY CARS LOT or DISNEY CARS OPEN, you might find some listings – be sure and search through COMPLETED auctions as some might've been listed before Christmas but sellers are just waiting out JAN – you can always email them to make an offer. Feel free to post in our forums that you are looking for OPEN CARS – good luck and welcome to CARS collecting.
