It seems like all the 1:43 scale Maters from the Disney Store are terrible. Either they are something special like Wasabi Mater or Unidentified Flying Mater, or they make him look like he's brown, instead of old and rusty. 

Can someone tell me if there's a 1:43 scale die cast Mater that looks just like Mater from Cars 1? Fading blue paint, rusty, old looking, with that crazy smile?

The original DS Mater I think was the best representation of Mater to reflect his paint.

 

His eyes on the other hand are as if he is a drug user with super small irises. He is not perfect by no stretch of the means, but you can actually tell that they tried with paint.

That one you posted up there does look pretty good for DS standards, but I agree that they almost all look like crap compared to the Mattel ones. Thanks for the pic, now I've gotta go on the hunt 🙂
