I just watched an eBay auction for the Surfin' Safari John Lassetire truck. At the end of the auction there were 14 bids, and the price was up to $1,010.00! However, the "reserve price" had not been met. I was shocked! I wonder what the reserve price was.

JC Penney was trying to sell Singles for $11.99 and Deluxe for $9.99. I wonder what was going on in their heads when they were coming up with the prices..

The 4 that were available in the U.S. seem to average out between $40-50 most of the time, but Frosty tends to almost double that price in a lot of auctions that I've watched.

I sold the kids Frank car on eBay for $86. Frank was not being played with any more and was sitting at the bottom of the toy chest. It had chips in the paint and the the head was loose.

I couldn't believe it.

During the final days of the Final Lap era, the final Final Lap cars (Dan Sklarkenburg, etc), which ended up being cancelled, slipped out of the back door and sold for hefty prices on eBay, seems like $70 or more each.  I'll bet someone on here has better details of this happening.  The car paint and decals were not great quality either (think "MyQCCalledZero"), which would make the hefty price hard to swallow in my opinion.

Yeah, once in a while I will see a pretty common Car pop up on eBay for some exorbitant price. It is pretty funny. It makes me want to email the seller "SERIOUSLY???"
