Here are some comparison pictures of the plastic Tire Talky truck included in the Photo Finish Raceway playset. On the whole it is a nice model, simillar to the plastic Frank and Chuy models; a bit smaller than I was expecting. Looking forward to the diecast version when it comes out.

Is it certain that Tire Talky is coming out as a die-cast? I love this guy and the only thing preventing me from getting him is that he is so plasticky. I also pine for a re-issue of Security Finn. I love all the Japanese characters….my wife and I got to travel to Japan with my old job and it is out favorite place to travel to. So whenever I see a Japanese car character, out is easy to convince my wife why we need too buy it!

Wow. My phone really mangled my grammar. Any sense when this will come out as a die-cast and where would be the best place to start looking (besides everywhere)?

I assume the truck will be out by mid-late Spring 2012. But that's an assumption, not confirmed in the least.

PR3DA, As for where to look, normally Walmart, Target, or TRU get the stocks in first, but it varies what store depending on what car really. I would keep a close eye on the forums and you'll start to see a pattern of what stores are reported to have it.

Oh man, I'm thrilled! Thanks for the info Bumper Save and Fillmore1234!

I am grateful for all the stuff I'm learning here on the forums. Wish I had joined when I started looking 3 months ago, would have definitely saved some money, gas, time, psychic energy and foolishness. I've passed a number of cars up in-store that I came back and realized were hard to find. Of course, when I went back it was long gone off the peg.
