Son of a gun it won let me post the link the properly.
It was from August 2012 on Pixar Post. T5AD had a post about it as well.
Cars characters as Star Wars characters.

I should say that the action figures were already in production, but this line went to the muppets as star wars characters. I think the action figures are coming up on series 7.

These are scheduled for a Spring 2013 release. They will be a Disney Park exclusive item.

Well late Spring 2013 can't come soon enough for this guy.
I've literally had dreams about these Cars.
Need to make some FL park going friends fast. I don't think I can wait until November when we are going to get these.

Where does it say its a park exclusive?? The vinylmations posted above them says its selling 500 in each park. But for the cars it only says:
"The designers said they were at the opening of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure and were inspired to design these Star Wars “Cars” cars. Look for these in late spring 2013."
I really hope they would sell these in stores!!

It will probably depend on how well the Angry Bird Star Wars stuff sells. If nobody buys that stuff, we won't see this at mass retail. This will probably be park exclusive.
