1. If i wanted to get a 3d blu ray player, theres a paper with the cars disc saying playstation 3 plays 3-d, would it play the same quaility than a 3-d player?
2. Does the cars tin box advertised on the paper really cost you $14 or is that how much it would cost if you didnt buy the movie?
Yes, if you have a Playstsion 3 with 3D. I think you would just need to update your system, no need to buy a new one. And you also need a 3D TV to be able to watch movies in 3D. So you need both a 3D Blu Ray/PS3 and a 3D TV.
I don't have a 3D TV but I still got the 5 disc because of the $5 off coupon making it $24.99 and the Best Buy ad would price check it down another $5 at Wal-Mart, making it $19.99. But the lady at the checkout was so dimwitted she thought the ad said the original price was $19.99 and the coupon was an extra $5 off of that, so I got my 5 disc for $14.99, half price!
If you don't already have a 3D TV, I would recommend not buying one, the 3D technology is advancing so fast and they are getting better and cheaper. The new ones just require regular theater-type glasses, not the shutter-type that cost $100 and need to be recharged and will make you go blind and insane. 3D TV is probably one of the best purchases we never made.
Fillmore, sweet!
When I bought mine at Walmart the cashier commented about how it was on sale for $5 off. I was like "but wait, there's more, here's a coupon for another $5 off". She scanned it and told me it didn't work because it was already on sale and handed the coupon back to me. I was about to read her the Riot Act until I noticed it did take the additional $5 off, so I was just like "alright then".
