I ordered on E-Bay a set of these 3 Cars and was amazed at how quickly it came. They came with the best protection during shipping: 2 were in mini Ziploc baggies and Shigeko was wrapped in gauze.  They are some of the cutest Cars I have ever laid my eyes on. I can now confirm that Tamiko is in fact a 1 piece Car, which is great. The red part of her little Japanese umbrella can come off easy and it will spin when it is on. Pictures may hopefully be coming soon if I can figure out how my new camera works.

Tamiko is very cute, and I put her with Teki and Paki which match very nicely with her on a mirror stand.
The colors look great together.

I saw Tamiko for sale from China on ebay a while ago. She was $15. I hesitated and the auction ended. Now I only see the set of 3 on ebay. Since I have the other 2, I still only want Tamika. I have been trying to get in touch with the seller via ebay but so far no reply. If you know of a seller who is selling Tamika alone, please let me know. Thanks

I bought her Tamika (you're right she is spelled with the a) back in mid October because I did not want to wait for the 5 pack to come out from TRU. Already had TRU 10 packs with Shigeko and Okuni She was 17.50 shipped. The DS versions seem to be the ones on ebay right now. The seller I bought from doesn't have any on auction currently.

Tamiko, Tamika, potayto, potahto. It's Tamiko on the Cars 2 wiki but on Ebay it's Tamika. I guess it will never be truly confirmed until she has been officially released.

Wow, BMW, that display on the mirror stand is great! Can we see the front view?
Fillmore, did yours come from overseas with no damage to the umbrella? I had been passing up the set of 3 auction based on my assumption that it would come poorly packaged, and thus damaged, combined with the seller's iffy feedback score. It sounds like you had a good experience, so I'm glad.

No damage to the umbrella at all, Mike. It was actually off the little handle when I got it and I thought it was broke, but then i realized it can easily slip on and off. It is a very cute little car and all three of them together look very nice. And I bought the set of 3. It was $36.50, if that was the one you were looking at.

Yes, that was the one I was looking at. It appears that they are sold out now. Glad you got a good deal, especially since it is conceivable that the pack she comes in at retail might cost as much or more for just she and a bunch of 2011 repeats.

ooooooo, sweet! They look great together, and like they are her entourage or bodyguards. Those Teki and Paki prototypes are cool, too, via the photobucket link. It appears that the mouths were changed for the final version.

Where did you find that sweet photo of Austin Littleton, BMW? Am interested in hearing although I'm guessing Ebay.

The Austin picture was posted from a person who is in China, it was not on ebay. I saved it to remind my self to wait for the Mattel version instead of the DS version.
Ransburg red Francesco, Metallic Raoul, Metallic Hudson Hornet Mcqueen all look like those will be TRU continuation of the exclusives. The Ka caio Mcqueen sticker on Francesco, and the Mcqueen with the sticker too. We all know the only way to really know what may be coming is to check out the back door sales, as Mattel does not share much in advance.
Mike, good noticing the differences on those prototypes of Teki and Paki. I prefer the final released versions that were in the stores.

The Mattel version seems to be gone. All I can find on there now are the big Disney Store versions. I searched under (Disney) (Pixar) Cars (Tamiko), or under (Kabuki), or (Okuni), or (Shigeko)

aeroplane3278 has a listing for "3 packs" of the dancers, about $12/dancer shipped.
Not too bad if you don't already have the first two dancers released in the TRU 10 pack.
