Alright, I  found a seller with this car. Obvisiouly we now know what it is. But is it worth $100-$130?? opinions anyone?

It all depends on who wants to buy, personally I'd be after one for my son to play with so no way I would pay that much but collectors are different, any how hang on a while and the availability will rise and the price should drop.( I Hope).
Looks good though dosen't it

Thats just it. I don't think that the availability will become any greater than they are today. Pr3da, this is the John Lasseter truck that he had produced for the crew members for CARS2. Total backdoor. Ori. Probably is in a clear case as indicated on the post regarding the LA auction. Most likely rare to the general public. From a collector aspect yes I feel worth some money, just how much as you said depends on the buyer……

As far as value, I think it is always pretty much in the eye of the (be)holder. For me personally, the price is too high. If I were super-hard-core, then maybe yes I could see spending $100 on a Car.

Congrats, are you having the baby? Or is your wife having the baby? I do not beleive there is a link. Not sure if there is one listed again on eBay or not. The reason I posted this post, it should of read " my newest car found on eBay" sorry. so to get it out, I paid $120.00. So I hope that it holds. It now matches my JL lighting McQueen. Oh and by the way when you get up to 5 kiddos and buy a $120 car, yea get ready for some couch time…….

Really, $120 huh… Seems like an awful lot to me, but I cringed the one time I spent $40 on one car. If copies of the Hawaiian Lassetire truck went to everyone that worked on the movie, going by the closing credits, that could be a run of a couple thousand units. I wonder if every production baby got one?

I agree John, sometimes I have more money than sense. But who knows, I bought it because I really liked it. TD, just so you that's your new nickname….there is another website that is called carsthetoys.com and they have a post fourm that's called "what's hot on eBay", most of the time I'll check it and there will be a link to most auctions. I thought t5 had a similar post in regards to eBay as well but couldn't find it.

I'm not sure if we've discussed this before, but this truck is in the movie during the epilogue in Radiator Springs. It might be a different color scheme though, and without the surfboard. Great score by the way!

Yep, the Car was green. I Posted the picture of it somewhere else. Not sure where, but when I find it I'll Post it here.
UPDATE: Not working on my Laptop, I'll try it on my Computer tomorrow. If you can't wait, look for it on page 3 or 4 of General. It's called 'Cars 2 Surfer Dude?'
