I purchased a case that contained Flash, Murakarmi, Becky and Don Crumlin.
While I'm happy with the case an managed to sell or give away the case fillers, I'm not happy with the quality of these cars that are coming off the line. So when you find them in the wild, inspect them carefully. here's what I found:
1. Becky's checkerboard pattern is all smudges and full of finger prints. There's probably enough fingerprint for the FBI to ID the factory worker.
 
2. Officer murakarmi is probably the biggest disappointment I've seen in a long time. Ceck out the smudges then the wipe marks on the fenders.
So if you are trading, make sure you get what you trade for.

Ick, that stinks, Dunroamin! Were you able to cull a decent set from the case, or were these two the best of the bunch? I purchased Don (from this case) from online resellers and was very pleased with his quality, which exceeds the original batch of Gremlins (Grem variations and Tyler).

yes…I have a nice carded and Murakarmi and Becky…the dons all apear to be nice…I will try to find another Murakarmi in the wild…the Flash is just plain awesome!

Glad to hear the Flash looks nice.. that would be terrible if he was flawed like the others!
Bummer about the other ones though… I haven't found these yet, but when I do I will be check them first.

My case was in great shape except a few bent filler cards. I gave my 3yr old 1 Becky, officer M, & Don. 3 hours later they look rough! I even let him have Flash but explained how valuable and not a scratch. I love my Boy!

Seems it takes them a while to get quality up to speed on these. The first batches of Okuni/Shigeko were mostly poor paint jobs, now they look better.
