Woo just 11 more hours! I feel like a child (i know its ridiculous since im a grown woman) but this is my first one so i can not wait to see my little mans face when he go picks out his cars! (we are hoping for one of each)

Woo hoo. Made it down to Kmart and got what I needed. Only 3 other families were there. Almost didn't get a poster with all the "upcoming" cars since we were a little late.
Now the wait is on for seeing these cars on the poster actually make it onto shelves.

Just got back and it was awesome! My son and I were the only people there so he got one of each car and the giant poster of upcoming cars. 🙂 I can't wait to do it again!

Congrats Brittany!
I was able to get 4 complete sets (one for me and three for friends) as well as the big upcoming cars poster and the in-store advertising poster. It was the best event I've been to!

Awesome! We just got one set (for my son) and the upcoming cars poster, we were the only ones at the event so we had the 4 cases to ourselves but i went back today to try and pick up a few for someone on here and they were gone except for mcqueen and francesco so ebayers must have cleaned them out. We had a blast though and cant wait to do it again.

I just discovered a third kmart within 20 minutes of me…they were wiped clean of any kmart day cars except one lonely Acer on the pegs…weird..

I tried to post a link to another site, but it didn't work, so I just copied my post from another Cars site. It is the same if you already read it there…
Showed up at my local Kmart at about 9:15 Saturday and there was nothing set up in the front. We walked back to the toy section and still nothing. Asked the lady at Customer service about the Cars event and she had no idea what I was talking about. I told her there was a poster in the lobby that said the event was today at 9 AM. She called someone on her radio and the person on the other end stated that they were doing it Sunday the 24th. So I asked for a manager. Here are my kids posing with the poster in the lobby…
 
It took about 20 minutes for a manager to come up to the front and they said they forgot about it. So they went to the back to get a master carton. They opened all four cases and let my son dig through the boxes…
I wasn't going to buy the silver racers but they did look really cool in person. My daughter liked Celine the most, and BobbyJack didn't seem too thrilled about another Acer…
The poster was pretty cool because unlike last year, there are quite a few on it that we don't have yet. Last year's poster had only 2 or 3 that we didn't have at that point…
It was hard to get a good picture because the wind was blowing the poster around and the sun was in the kids eyes. Not a bad Kmart day, but better than the last two.
