This turned up at our local TRU yesterday. It is so old they didn't have it in their computer. The package is pretty beat up but the car and parts are all still there and in excellent shape. My kids want it to play with, but before we tear the package apart I wanted to check here to see if its especially rare, if anyone needs this as a missing piece for their collection?

 

I couldn't find anything online about this toy, there's been none on eBay recently, can anyone fill me in on the history of this?

I remember I still have my Gear Up 'N' Go RS Lightning (as well as my nearest Dollar Store, somehow, about a dozen to be exact) but never heard of a Dinoco McQueen… maybe it's the same situation as the DS Lee Revkins in acrylic box, where they were cancelled, but a small amount made it to retail?
