Does anyone here know who made the diecast Trev diesel that has been seen around, I've noticed it before displayed on Blu collection?.. (YouTube) what's the story behind it.
Also has anyone seen or own a king ransberg with fixed eyes, d888 code from approx. 2 years ago according to the date stamp. This car is being advertised from a seller as extremely rare? I've purchased from a great seller and just trying to get others info on it. Thanks
Ok thanks John, I bought a trev from a collector and it is just as I've seen on video, looks like a really cool diecast.
I have also purchased two kings ransberg with fixed eyes, one is coded and the other not. Just curious to the history of these pieces.
Please post some Trev pictures if you can. I've been thinking about making a wooden Trev to go with my boys' wooden Cars and could use some painting ideas. Not too much was visible in the movie.
If you don't want to do it totally from scratch, but do want great quality parts and better scale, you could go with Whittle Shortline's wooden Amtrak F-40PH Passenger Diesel Engine, change the shape a bit, then repaint the body. It's a really great company. They're at woodentrain.com It fits the same width of track as Thomas and Brio; is that basically the same track width as the wooden Cars line?
