Rod, my impression is that businesses who order directly from Mattel and/or distributors, aka online resellers, and insiders, see lists or sales-type press releases that refer to case assortments and estimated release schedules.  You and I don't have access to these, we could only gather info that these people include in store product descriptions, incredibly entertaining fan-site articles, and from actual cases cracked open and confirmed at retail shops like Walmart etc.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.  Anyway, I'll PM you the link to the gold standard of ongoing assortment lists that you asked about; I believe there is another thread on there as well where people are actively trying to sort it all out.

That's good to hear, Rod.  I read good things about JMDL and thus far communication on my recent order is really excellent. Scott: Children's Toy Closet is a great source as well and the total cost would be less I think (as it is shipped from midwest vs. west coast and via highly reliable and cheaper UPS ground). The only problem is the site is not always up to date and communication is not always there.  Rob (Rob's Palace) is legendary, and one would be wise to PM Slicepie regarding case availability as well.  Are there other great and reasonable sources out there?

It's strange Mary Esgocar and Nick Cartone don't show any listings, UPC, or evidence of release other than posters and the Mattel website.  Will they be released in one of the last three cases (U, W and Y)? Will they be put into a 2013 case released November or December 2012?
