Does anyone out there have a cars tie? preferably cars 1 or toons, but I would take any. If you don't want to sell it, could I borrow it for Ethan's funeral? I would pay shipping both ways, and would include a small gift in the return. You would need to be in the US and I would need it either on or before Thursday afternoon Please e-mail e.davies1@comcast.net, or text to 612-702-3287.
Thanks!!!

You could always add Cars stickers or iron-on transfers to a plain tie.

Iron on isn't a bad idea. seems weird that they don't sell these, not even at Cars Land! I might make one with fabric, otherwise I will try the iron on

Eli,
Another option could be to use the Disney pins on a regular tie. They would stick out and perhaps make the tie heavier but might be an option if alternatives don't work out. I may have some at home (2 or 3 ) and can look them out for you if you want.
We could figure out a way to get them to you quickly.
Dave.

Thanks Dave. I do have a few pins here that would work. If i have the time, i think that I will be going with an iron on type of thing. I downloaded all of the high quality images that Met posted a while ago, and will probably use one of those unless i can find one better. My favorite image, and what I think he would have like the most would be the image of all of the characters in radiator Springs from the first movie. Does anyone have a high quality version of that?

Thank you to everyone who has spent time and helped out with the tie idea. Hope there are no hard feelings, but I am going to forgo the tie and wear a cars t-shirt matching the pall bearers with my suit coat. I am, however, going to use the idea that several members have offered and wear cars buttons, just not on a tie. Thanks again!

One more thought — you could always take some of the cardbacks, and cut and glue them into the shape of a tie. Not sure how flexible it would be to wear, but it would certainly be unique!

that would be great for SDCC! One of the people who sent a package sent along some Cars buttons from Cars Land. I have a few as well plus some pins from other things he liked. I think my wife and I are going to both wear some of those.
