I did some searching on the internet but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I am seeking a cheat code for the Cars 2 video game to unlock all of the cars. My son has been playing the game for a few months and unlocked a bunch of cars through the normal game play. Unfortunately, his save game somehow got erased and he lost all of his cars. I found codes to unlock all the tracks, give unlimited turbo, and some other stuff, but nothing on the cars. If anyone happens to have this magical code, I would really appreciate it. I would hate for him to have to start all over after all the "work" he put in so far. Thanks.

there's only 3 cheat codes:

123456- all race tracks and clearance modes unlocked

959595- laser at beginning of battle/attack/survival/arena mode

721953- unlimited boost

I've been playing the game a lot in my free time and I only need 1 or 2 more characters to unlock- Young Professor Z and Midnight Francesco. Then I need the newest characters you can buy for real money- Wingo, DJ, Boost, Snot Rod, Chick Hicks, Flo, Ramone and Sheriff. For some reason my PS3 always freezes every time I try to purchase any of them 😛 so I haven't been able to see them.

I can't believe they didn't include a cheat for all the cars. It just seems silly not to. My son really wants that midnight Francesco. Now that you tell me that it is the last one on the list to get, that is kind of disappointing. How exactly do you earn the cars anyway. Do you get a car for particular achievements or is just from continuous play and earning points?

You earn achievements. You have to complete EVERY acievement, otherwise known as Badges and Crests, to unlock Midnight Francesco. Some of those are near to impossible. Out of sheer luck I completed the Hudson Hornet Crest. You had to drift on a drift zone for 6 seconds in a row. I got it during the Race Hyde Tour, in the spot where all the Double Decker Buses are coming toward you. I was using the Car Security Guard Finn McMissile but if you didn't buy him, the normal Finn or the Union Jack Finn should work, too.

The other way to earn Cars is simply by buying them. There are a lot of Cars you buy for $0.99 each. The Queen is FREE so I would recommend buying her, although she is very slow and hard to control. So if you want, buy your son a gift card for whatever console you play it on. I loved buying them and I played the game for another whole hour or two just playing races as them. Uncle Topolino is my favorite.

With acievements, there are 49 in total. Some you HAVE to play Multiplayer. Some are extremely hard. Some though, are pretty easy and for every 10 acievements you unlock a new Car! And on some special Achievements, you get bonus Cars, like Gunner Acer (VERY HARD!) or Brand New Fillmore (sheer luck I believe) or Ferrari Fan Luigi (sort of easy)

Also, I still need Young Professor Z. I believe he is even harder to get than Midnight Franesco, but that may be just my imagination.
