Today, my neighbor brought a small tub of cars over that her 9 year old daughter had once played with. I am guessing little girls don't play with cars the same way that little boys do, because for being played with the cars were in really good shape. Occasional knick or scratch. I am keeping about half for myself and my son. The other half I will sell for her. I need some help with pricing.
Our keep pile:
Wingo
Sally
RPM
SnotRod
Boost
DJ
Red
Stanely
Luigi Fan
Luigi
tractor
Ham
Flow
Sarge
Lizzy
FHH doc

What would be a fair amount of money to give my neighbor for these cars?
————————————————————————————-
The cars on this list will be sold. Not sure what kind of prices to put on these, as they have been played with, not a whole lot, but there are some chipped paint, scratches etc. I thought I would offer them to take 5 friends first, but I am guessing since they have been played I might be holding onto them for a while. And forever for a some of them. Probably end up throwing them up on ebay in a lot.
Dinoco Mcq

Guido

dirt track mcqueen

Mario Andrette w red wheels

lizzy
2 fillmores

Purple Ramone

Any suggestions would be appreciated….. thanks!!!!

Wow, what a cool neighbor! I would take a look at the completed listings on eBay, compared with the open listings, Amazon, and ToyPeddler to get an idea if an item is even available, and if it is how valuable it might be on average. There are some really nice treasures in there I think; for instance, it's been a long time since the Red/Stanley 2-pack has been in stores. Even with some wear, some of these should hold their value, right – like Lizzie. I had to pay at least $19 to get her loose, and that was a few years ago, before Cars 2 took over the market. Is your son going nuts over these?

I'd auction them on eBay in 19 separate listings starting at $0.99, and give the neighbor the proceeds. The eBay & PayPal fees you incur will pay for the ones you keep.
Although if your neighbor is like my neighbor, she'll say you don't owe her a thing.
