Angies email to me this morning was a scam.
her email account has been hacked:
Hi,
Just writing to let you know our trip to London, England has been a mess. We were having a great time until last night when we got mugged and lost all our cash,credit card cell phone.It has been a scary experience, I was hit at the back of my neck with a pistol. Anyway,I'm still alive and that's what's important. I'm financially strapped right now and need your help.
As we speak i need $1,600 to add up and sort my bills,don't worry i will def refund it as soon as we get home,the fastest and safest means you can get money to me is
via western union,Here's my info:

I got this email last night. Scary thing is, I got the SAME email from my mother's account a few weeks back. It was also a yahoo account. Just sad that people spend their time doing this to decent folks.

Make your passwords DIFFERENT immediately. Before restarting your computer.
If you restart AFTER and NOT changing your passwords it is too late

You should be fine then. It seems to only attach itself to your facebook contacts and email contacts. Run a virus scan anyway.

So sorry everyone – yesterday was a pain in the @$$ getting it all fixed. No single passwords of mine are alike, so i'm not sure how that all works. All better now … even my home network encryption code has been changed. SORRY !!!
Hmmm … I just can't believe my own mother wouldn't Western Union me the cash to get home. LOL
