Will the metallic Rip with yellow helmet be a metallic TRU single?
Also, the "Special Agent w/ Gun" scheduled in Case D is probably the Black Trunkov.

I have no special knowledge about these Cars. Some could be factory prototypes or errors; that could explain why Rip has two different helmets and Chanucy appears to be black in one and blue in another. Sometimes the Chinese sellers have Cars right before they show up here, (the Luggage Truck), and sometime it takes a year or more. (the Tire Talky Truck, Mama Bernoulli) The black Trunkov does not appear to have a gun.
Yellow helmet Rip is missing its headlights so that's more likely an error or prototype Car. The Kmart Bernoulli had a red helmet in the advertising poster but a silver helmet in the production version; could be the same for Rip. Guess we'll know in June.

I always wonder about these cars on ebay from China…You think they could be fakes? Or are do you think they are authentic Mattel?

My theory:
Backdoor sellers somehow get these Cars from the factory, whether they have a friend there or something, and they sell them. They are authentic, as I can't spot one car other than metallic Rip w/ yellow helmet already scheduled. As for others like the "clean" Frank and Bessie, I think it's just being an idiot and stealing before paint went on, and trying to be passed on as authentic. But otherwise, they are real!
I'm sure I'm wrong though…

We've bought a few cars from Hong Kong sellers over the years. Most have had some chips or other imperfections that probably failed QC and were not considered good enough for packaging and shipping to customers.
These are supposed to be destroyed, but aren't making it all the way to the landfill.
My kids don't care as they add their own chips anyway.
