I purchased this Mack gift set from disney world last year and if I were you I would not even bother and just buy the Mack carrying case at toys r us instead (I think it's around $30). The cars included with Mack are diecast but they are smaller than Mattel cars and the detail is lacking big time! The slots in Mack are very SMALL so you can only get smaller cars in them. The sides always come off so my son is always bringing it to me to snap them back on which is really frustrating, even once the sides are closed and my son is just carrying it around the weight of the cars pushing on the sides make it pop open. It was a cute idea but I just think they could have done a little better especially for the price. Not trying to be a bummer since your interested in it but just trying to help. 🙂

Actually, I think you are talking about another Mack. I don't have it but I know they are small. The ones at the DS look like 1:43 scale.
