The "London Calling" set is online now but "sold out"…includes the Disney Store versions of the bus and Sgt. Highgear.
Sgt. Highgear's hat is cloth/fur rather than plastic:
Really begs the question…who makes their diecast? The bus sure looks like Mattel's (of course based on character designs any two would look similar), and there is an odd parallel to the secondary character releases…with the exception of Sgt. Highgear and maybe a few others, the Disney Store is doing the same ones (Pope and Popemobile, Geishas, sumo wrestlers, Security Finn) but just a little after Mattel, though the Disney Store's are usually more easily found.

See John's post with the close ups of the sergeant! I've decided against using the Disney cars to "fill in" until Mattel's come out…they're just not high enough quality. The cars are tinny, and the eye and decorative decals are prone to easy flaking. (The Pope and Popemobile were a big disappointment, and even Crabby has issues.) But…they've done so well with some of the toys, especially the bigger ones—Frank, the new Tony, the oil rig, the monster trucks—that it's always worth checking them out in the store.

Definitely worth $15. I opened mine in the car on the way to donate half the cars to Salvation Army. The Queen and Sgt Highgear (especially his velvety textured hat) are great and seem pretty close to scale.

Disney just don't play fair. It is sometimes a real downer being in England it seems like we get overlooked. I'm just glad some can benefit like Mike Manifold.

Ghostlightcharlie,
What do you think shipping from the US to you would cost? Tell you what, I'll buy one for you if you pay shipping. I don't want anything in return, but the set definently is fitting for you. Let's just say I understand. Deal? Let me know.

Bmckim, It tell you , you guys over there are just to much….
I bit the bullet and went to Disney USA and got a few things, a $95 order but had to pay £59 ship…bummer.
But thank you so much for the offer, that sort of thing never happens over here any more.. Best wishes.

You know, being a member of this forum reminds me of when I was young in the late sixties, eveyone is kind and nothing seems to much trouble, I am just not used to it any more, and If someone could just beam me over one of those steaks, well that's a little to much I suppose but I'll get to try one some day……………
