Saw this posted yesterday on another Cars site.
http://www.disneystore.com/car…..0/1000268/
If you haven't gotten this yet, get it. Got it for BobbyJack for his 4th birthday last year. He loves it. Haven't seen it in store or online since last Thanksgiving. Showed it to two guys I work with yesterday and they ordered it for their kids. If this goes on sale for like 40% off, I will be getting a 2nd one.

Yes, they are 1:43 scale.
The torches are soft rubber / plastic and they mount to the bottom of the car.
Finn has wheels on te bottom of his hydrofoils.

Just noticed the conning tower in the store photo is on backwards. Unless they redesigned it from last year? (Its always breaking off.)

The Mattel 1:55s work great with this ship.
Here is Acer on board.

Bobbyjack, how do you keep your Dstore oil rig from coming apart? It is so flimsy that ours is in pieces.

My kids just have the top deck of the rig lying flat on the floor and they play with it that way.

Same here! The crane is probably the best part of this toy.

All I did was wedge a wooden block right here.
Center it where the helipad connects with the third level. There is a solid piece you can wedge the box flush with the roof. The bottom of the block goes against the brown plastic piece. It will not be level because that piece is at an angle. The weight of the roof keeps the block in place and that seems to support the whole thing. Check it after your kids get done playing with it, but it works great for us.
