Visited our local TRU today for the first time in a few weeks. The huge Cars section near the entry that went up back in May is completely gone now. Cars have been relegated to their regular ½ an aisle across from the Hot Wheels.
Amazing how bad the selection has gotton also, Finn McMissile in various forms, some Maters and some Bernoullis. Singles are on sale so maybe there's a new wave of releases on the way?
Yeah…feel your pain…at my local TRU, CArs 2 takes up half the aisle and CARS 1 and Cars Toon takes up an additional 6 feet…ooh..you'd think there be something good…NOPE!…a bunch of frightening mcmeans and Nurse GTOs. Yippee…and about 12 no stall haulers..at full price!…not to mention 14 pegs full of Yellow, green and Blue semis…not going to dignify them with their real names
Went to TRU today looking for metallic Nigel. Saw the Cars 2 front of store display replaced with Star Wars. Kind of had fun trying out the different masks like Vader and Grievous and explaining to my son who these characters are. He is fasinated with those new Clone Wars lightsabers. Every store we go to that has them, he has to turn all off them on!
