On my way home from work today and decided to stop off at TRU to see if they carry the elusive Finn or Mater or not. While looking, I stumbled across a new peg….
They had about 3 left on one single peg.

San Francisco bay area. East bay to be exact. I did check out three other TRUs in the south bay but have not come across any Jeffs in the other stores.

Yea, that's the problem is that the consistency of the paint job is not good. It seems as if Mattel decided to source the painting to someone else or decided to paint the Cars 2 line outdoor.

Ha! Good way to describe it, frank. I don't really remember having to pick thru cars 1, or maybe I wasn't as picky?
I really appreciate the tip. I usually come home empty handed but sometimes the efforts pay off, and its always a great surprise. Love that feeling.

Cannot wait to find him down here. The good thing is …. Jeff is a totally different TRU Stock number!! No reason to have to wait for metallic McQueen to clear the pegs. He gets his own!!! 😀
