With all the spottings of Mel dorado at Walmart, went to go check out my local Walmart. No Mels but did find another pope/pope mobile combo.

Found 4 Lewis Hamilton and 20 Carlo Maserati singles at the Richmond (Indiana) Walmart this morning… a friend had reported finding them there Friday night.
Now to find Hudson Hornet McQueen and Mel Dorado at retail…

Went to a grand opening for a new Walmart this week … I expected to find some gooooood stuff …. instead, I found much of nothing. I was pretty shocked … the pegs were stuffed, but the newest things on them was Pinion Tanaka and Max singles. Oh well …. maybe next grand opening I will find something lolol

Checked out another Walmart in the Charlotte area.
They looked to be fully stocked but the newest stuff they had were Miguel and Shu singles.

our walmart for megas 22 double decker buses, 18 hydrofoil finn, 8 holly with wings, 11 kingpin, and 1-2 of someone else.
Singles tons of mater, sarge, lightning, finn, trunkov.
Light sounds mater spy, finn security about 40 of each.
2 Packs around 7-8 different ones but 12-20 of each of them.
Same things they've had for pretty much 2 months.
What's odd is the amount of playsets they sell out of, lego sets they can't keep in and remote control cars that are always out of stock.
We are super rural 2 hours from the next biggest town but the peg warmers and what sells out just seems odd to me.

Found 2 Mel one for me and the boy only 2 they had they also had a lot of Miguel and Shu singles and hundreds of race tires mcqueen rod mater and fins in Colorado springs

Yahoo, Mel is in Illinois! Case contents seemed to match the Case A Fillmore posted a few days ago. Mel and Carlo Maserati have something in common – they both share Acer's license plate – ahem. Fun find though….

Sure thing! Hope you have some good finds down there soon. This case was only at 1 of 6 northside Chicago Walmarts (bingo at Waukegan WM) within the last few days, but it surely is promising news. Thanks again for finding the case contents; it did inspire me to take a second look today.

By the way, I've watched the casino scene in Cars 2 several times recently looking for a shot of Carlo Maserati. Is that a shot of his back as he wins a jackpot while Ivan Mater escorts the Hugos through the casino? If so, then a good screen shot could yield a decal to fix his incorrect diecast license plate.

Your rural WM must be HUGE to have room for all that stock. Both WMs in my town combined don't have that much shelf space.

Carlo Maserati is in the scene where Holley is telling Ivan that her "grandfather" broke down. More specifically, it's right at the beginning when they slowly zoom in on Ivan and the Hugos outside the casino. Carlo is over on the other side.

Yes Tom, but our Walmarts make up for it in number of stores. I have 5 within a 20 mile radius from my house. No Mel Dorado yet, either.

I guess we have 3 within 20 miles of us, 2 in 'Neck and 1 in Mt. Airy. Other than that, Gettysburg, Hagerstown and Germantown are the nearest but they are all over 20 miles from here…

I friend of mine found Mel Dorado and Hornet cup McQueen at Walmart in Lakewood. I visited the Walmart in Aurora yesterday and they did not have them.
