Found Case H at a Walmart 20 miles away from me! This is a good sign that the drought might be over at our Walmarts!
My 2 local Walmarts have had diddly squat for singles in the last 2 months.

Don't write it off. The fall reset (or some form of reset) is in about two weeks and the toy manager at my WM told me they are getting a huge shipment of toys in. He wasn't 100% sure though that Cars would be getting a restock, which makes no sense since many WM's are way overdue and are in dire need of new stuff.
Edit: Just realized that you passed me up on # of Posts Jeff!  When did that happen?

My Walmart is in need of a reset. The only singles they have are Mater, Lightning and Francesco. However, the 2-packs are doing okay (they have the newest ones) and they have the current Micro Drifters, but otherwise everything else is not very good. They have a couple Dustin Mellows and Kabuki Maters though

just found fresh sealed case h at walmart in brandon alongside case e of deluxe…
picked up an extra ffm to trade as well the extra victor rip and snot rod up for trade, will post my needs in the trade section later tonight.
be on the lookout micky and jeff, ive come to notice that once one walmart in the area its that night or the next for the other local stores here…

Found remnants of Case H last night. Picked up Victor Pavone, Donna, and Kaubto.
Saw a huge pallet of boxes so I dove into them. Found 3 deluxe Case E. Picked up 2 FFM.
All in all I was pretty happy to FINALLY find new stuff!

Founf case H at three Walmarts in the NYC area last night and a fresh Hot Wheels Dump bin too. Rips, Snot Rods, 2 Super Hunts, some Star Trex Enterprises and various other goodies- A good night of Cars Hunting. Be on the lookout at your Walmarts.

An hour? It only takes experienced Car buyers mere seconds to strip the pegs of anything worthwhile. LOL

I went last night and checked the singles and nothing I wanted. Came back this morning and a Francesca magically appeared. Plus 2 cases of the deluxes, minus the FF Mater. 🙂 It doesn't take long and I think the employees get wise as to what is hot in the market place.

Heads up. A local Hot Wheels buddy found sidekicks at 2 different Wakmarts tonight. One he was first to and got to unseal. It had all case H cars with 2 Rips.

I found a sidekick yesterday and it had no Rip and like 8 Kabuto. I think they are randomly packed. Either way, it is nice to see them in Walmart!

No new stuff, but one of my Wal-Marts was littered with "confidential" information about the reset. Humorous reading. All sort of notes on arrangement and shopper psychology. Apparently they consider Hot Wheels to be "what customers want" when they go to the Vehicles/Cars Aisle. The configuration diagram for the Cars toys appeared to be exactly the same as it is now, but moved. No increase or decrease in pegs. The reset was indicated to begin during the week of August 12 and "system deleted" items to go on clearance on Week 27. Don't know what Week 27 is in Walmartese.
