lanechange, that it's definitely a walmart i wish i lived near! my pegs hold countless maters, finns and mcqueens from the first wave. the only 2013 one is vladimir trunkov. lol
and my walmart has stopped ordering singles (according to the toy person i talked to last week)… noooooooo!!!!!

So my Wally had 3 cases of D, and then a lone Mike Lorengine. From my experience, I highly doubt a case F disappeared except for Mike, so maybe a mispack?

Or a figment of your imagination. When you look in your bag, its really a Francesco that you bought. Its their new Quick Changer line…changing from a new car to a pegwarmer.

Wow, great finds. Unfortunately Canada is getting the short end of the stick again. Nothing new for the last few months now at my local WM…that is until last night when I stopped by to grab a few things. With my son in tow, thought I would check out the cars section. Not only were they stocking new cars but I noticed it was case "B". Just as I was about to grab a Rip for my son (the only car he keeps asking for) some guy grabbed it and threw it in his cart. His cart had 5 Rips plus all other new cars in it. I politely asked if my son can have one and he told me I can have one for $50!! What is this world coming to?? I am not a collector and when I buy cars, I definitely don't clean out the aisle since I know there are other people out there in the same boat as I am. I understand people want to try making money off of these cars but if you give me a choice of spending $50 for a car or not having that car…well the choice is very simple every single time. Just a damn shame that it has to be like this. It probably would have been different if my son wasn't with me. That guy would have gone home with bent and creased packaging on every single car he had in his cart. Sorry for the rant.

That guy is just plain cruel. I've always hated the kind of collectors who think that they need 4 or 5 of each car. Sorry if this applies to anyone who's reading this but I mean think of the kids. I am an opener and I honestly don't care about getting more than one of each one. Too Fast Too Slow, I feel really bad for you and if I met that guy I would have just wanted to slap him.
Or do it the old fashioned way where you say WOW STEVE CARELL!, snatch it up and run away

That is unbelieveable!
I hope someone on this board can help you out with a Rip!
I've seen people who I assume are eBay sellers in the stores when I go. I get not so nice looks from them and I'm a pretty timid guy so just walk away. Maybe that would change if I saw something I really wanted. 
I would certainly never take a car from a kid though (which is how I see what happened). That just upsets me.

I used to run into an avid toy eBayer quite a bit on the north side of Chicago. He would always volunteer to let me take what I needed before he cleaned them out of whatever valuable Cars release he was scooping up. He even helped me figure out what infant swimming diapers would be best on one occasion. I hated getting beat to the Cars by him, savored beating him to the new Cars; but of course I understood that for him it was a business, a way to get food on the table. If Mattel would simply make all of the new characters available for purchase on their website, like Hasbro does with Star Wars, then these type of distribution/competition woes would be soooo much less of an issue. I echo the sentiment: hopefully someone will have one extra Rip to send your way!!
