Went to both the Tewksbury MA WalMart and the Salem NH SuperCenter WalMart and guess what I found …..
Tons of Race Team Maters and Finns on the pegs. 
The Salem NH has so much Cars 2 stuff and it looks like it just hasn't caught on. My son and I also collect the Shake N Go's I counted 88 on one shelf plus another 30 or so on other shelves. Very depressing – they need to deeply discount this stuff to get rid of it. Mattel has to do a much better job putting sets together- I am way past the point of buying a 100th variation of Mater like Spy Glass Mater just to get a lame exclusive car.

Sad to hear that… Our Wal- Mart has all that stuff to, except for it's regular appearance of a Nigel Gearsley-Hydraulic Ramone. I've had more luck at K-Mart than anywhere else. I've found my first Carla Veloso, Kingpin Nobunaga, and the Crew Chief 2 packs there, and I've only gone there 4 times since May 16!

At Wal-Mart today we found a chase metallic DJ and two chase impound Snot Rods hanging together on a peg. All three have excellent undamaged cards. I bet someone in the stock room set them aside years ago then they were forgotten about. (or he was let go)

Visited 2 local Walmarts. Both had hundreds of Cars (literally) from the Max Schnell case. One store had an end cap with 6 pegs across & 8 pegs down all filled plus more full pegs in the toy section. Another Walmart had several trays of that case, well over 100 Cars. Not looking good for any new singles coming around here any time soon

Stopped at Walmarts in King of Prussia and Gettysburg, PA yesterday. The KoP store was maybe the worst-stocked Walmart I have ever been to.
I picked up Cartrip/Mustangberger 2-pack at the Gettysburg location. I hadn't seen those two on the shelf for a long while.

WM in Frederick, MD didn't have anything new, but their refresh/restock and removal of FMM singles resulted in most of them selling, so maybe new stuff by early November?
They still had tons of FMM deluxe and common 2 packs.

I had a very nice score at Walmart today … but not of the Cars variety … though it does help the Cars collection …. I found the 5 packs of M2 acrylic cases on SUPER clearance for $1.50!! They were priced at $3 for the last 6 or 7 weeks. I bought the last couple sets that they had.
