Well I found another Queen today, I also saw that odd little side display but the Rips were already gone. I decided to take a look at Hot Wheels because recently my son, he's 4, has been watching YouTube videos about Treasure Hunts, I looked through a really big blue box on a pallet and found 3 Super Treasue Hunt Mustang Super Snakes. Is it bad that I'd rather have found the Rips?

Finally find Rip in the wild!  Not just 1 but 2 Rips.

Got him through this board so up he'll go for trade.

Glad you finally found one!  I just found my second one in the wild last night also.  I also just put him up on my trade list.

For those that have seen the sidekick – where is it typically? Around the rest of the Cars, or in another part of the store?

I don't think they have hit us yet Otis.  I checked three Walmarts yesterday and nada!

Looked all over the stores.

I've had no luck in finding a Queen, do you have one you'd like to sell? Totally understand finding something rare, but still disappointed it wasn't a Car you were hoping for…LOL

Bubba, Otis; I have not seen these sidekicks around me on the northside to northern suburbs either; I have however been beat to the one Rip of Case B yet again, thanks to Walmart in Waukegan- ouch, that's 20 Rip failures on my part.  On the other hand I found two more Kit Revster 7-packs (Target); one for MikeCee, and the other up for grabs.  Did you find one yet Otis?

ZanymominTX, I have a new loose Disney Store Queen available to sell at cost; if you are interested send me a PM.  I will throw in the DS Topper Deckington as well.

The Rip case has finally hit NH. I hit 4 WMs today and they had the new case out at 2 of them. Unfortunately, Rip himself was gone from both. On the upside, I was able to get a Kabuto, Grem w/ weapon, Holley Shiftwell w/ screen and Petey Pacer for my boy.

Mike, I thought about the 7 pack, decided against it. I haven't been collecting the fans, so I know if I got it would have to get the rest and I'm already in deep.

I went to two Walmarts today and nuttin'. The one by work hasn't had anything but Francescos for weeks and the other had no singles at all. Maybe soon.

I got a Rip for myself weeks ago, but still need 2 for the kids. My 3 year old son routinely points out to me that, "Santa forgot to bring a Rip Clutchgoneski." If I can find them, I might hang onto them until Easter because it is hilarious to hear him say, "Clutchgoneski".

He says "Clutchegonski" in a particularly awesome way, eh?  Glad you've got at least one Rip.  Wish Mattel would just let us order them directly, like Hasbro does with Star Wars merchandise… it would be so easy to acquire the mass amount of Rips we all need to complete multiple adult collections and fulfill many kids' dreams.  Does your 3 year old like Cars2 better than Cars1?  My 3 year old was not happy about his very first set of Cars cars for this Christmas (a Target Speedway 9-pack from Cars 1), he opened it and said, "I do NOT like Caaars!" Embarassed Hope he'll change his mind, and decide to follow his older brother's footsteps, heh heh.

He says it so emphatically – "ClutchGONEski"

I was worried because when I first showed him Cars, he was very indifferent to it, but he was under 2 at the time. Suddenly something clicked and he was Cars crazy. He likes all things Cars, but likes Cars 2 better and racers above all. I would say in his mind the best a car could do is become a WGP racer, and then settle for the piston cup. His favorite pastime is to line racers up and then "crash" them by just jumbling them up or "zooming" them across the floor. My 5 yr old daughter is much more gentle, she prefers to get a boy and girl car and marry them and give them kids. I wouldn't sweat it, especially if your older one is into it.

Gonna check a third WM today after work, who knows?

Heh heh, that's great stuff!  So cool the different ways kids can be creative with toy cars.  So who are the child Cars in the family scenario?  I suppose Cartney Brakin' is the first real child-car diecast from the Cars universe….

I thought Coriander Widetrack was supposed to be a child, but the diecast seems rather large.  She would be better at Polly Puddlejumper's size.

I've been surprised at some of the scale differences of the Cars 2 line. At least Mattel fixed Fred to the right scale in  cars 1

I have been seeing remnants of case B in the area and finally found Rip down here. Some WM's have been clearancing old case singles at $1.50 and its working however the last before 2013's were Mel D case so I guess some day my prince won't come. Off to the trade board.

Is there any difference between the new Kabuto and the toons one besides packaging?
