Checked my Walmarts again today and still nothing but a buch of dumb old Finns, I almost want to go hide them in the store somewhere where they will never be found, maybe in the fish tanks? Not like anyone ever checks on those fish anyways! 🙁

Clearance isle, that is funny. I know I have thought about moving them straight into the garbage cans.
I did find two haulers this week. Wally and Mack. I purchased one of each leaving one Wally and one Mack behind.
It seems like the bug bite is spreading. I normally only collect the DS releases. I know, I know, a cardinal sin.

I just don't know what to do, our area is getting nothing (and I mean nothing) new! Not counting the Kmart event cars, take flight and a few toys r us exclusives I have not purchased any new cars since the spring. I still have not found GGG, Becky, murakarmi, the new two packs or anything. Every time I go to the store it's the same old thing Finns Finns and more Finns and those same two packs with mater and the rake guy (don't know his name).

After the bug bite, I have been going to my local Walmart and Target every chance I get to see if anything exciting is available on the shelf. The haulers I found were at a Walmart I have never been to before. It is actually located inside a mall. Crazy, Walmart in a mall. Anyways, I found myself at the DS during my lunch break on a Wednesday. This is the first time I have ever seen anything but the normal Finns and McQueens that pack the pegs. Heck, this was the first time I had ever seen a hauler. I had to stare at it for awhile to let the size sink in. Being a DS collector, I had imagined the haulers being a bit larger and was shocked at the tininess.

Other people have said that they've bought all the crap stock, then taken it to another store and returned it. That's how to clear it out, as just moving it off the peg isn't going to move it out of their POS system.

Lane Change, I'm right there with ya. In June at my Walmart there were 8 full Pegs of Finn, which have since then gradually been sold and now they are all gone. But thanks to the Mel Dorado Case, we are now stuck with multiple pegs of Francesco's, Holley's and Nigel Gearsley's.

best bet is buy them, return to another store, walmarts inventory is controlled by a computer, as the computer sees them sell it automatically will order more, so if you buy 100 cars, the computer will see 100 selling in a day and order a few cases, when those cases come you do it again, itll order more and the cycle continues…
hence my 4th cartney found this morning at the same store….
we buy every car as they get them and the computer sees them as "hot selling items" and keeps ordering them, so long i buy them and return them elsewhere, my store will continues to get every case 🙂

Have you noticed the turn around time from getting new cases or the appearance of Cartney?
I picked up a Cartney this morning at one store, and 3 Kabutos at another store. Also, my one local store keeps getting cases of haulers in. There was a rumor floating around that a store only received one shipment of haulers. I keep buying the Wally haulers to eventually make custom missing haulers.
