It was like a ghosttown. Â I didn't even know it was in existence 'til earlier today. I had thought for years that there was only 1 TRU in my metro area. Â Driving up, I was 50/50 on whether it had been shut down. Â Doors opened despite being partially blocked by carts, but really didn't see anyone for a good 5 minutes – no staff, no customers, nobody. Dead quiet. This wasn't early, either. Â It was like 1 pm. Â All the horrible overhead lighting was either out or flickering. Â The decorations inside were old and the place was filled with all sorts of toys that I hadn't seen in a year or more at the one that I normally go to. Â Most impressive collection of Tombers and Quick Changers that I've ever seen. Â Turned out the staff of maybe 6 or so were just having a meeting in the back, but still spooky. Â

Found a 3rd Case H at TRU. Its nice that TRU has gotten in the new diecasts while the sale is going on.Â

I was really  hoping to find case R instead.

Toys R Us Houston got in a new case of Planes just in time for the BOGO 1/2 off sale.
There were 4 Bravos diecasts on the pegs Friday.
No new Pitty Tent sets, just Dustys.

Found another caseH at a local TRU yesterday. Got a free ticket to see Planes out of the deal, which is cool since my two youngest plan on me taking them to see it.

Found something totally unexpected tonight at TRU. Looking for Case H, but was surprised. Got Vern, Maurice, Race Official Tom, Alex Carvill, and Nature Drive McQueen. I have no idea which case this is. Totally forgot about the deal for movie ticket. Need to go back tomorrow for it!

That's Case N. Ran into 2 of those cases today at my TRU. There was even a Super Chase Takeshi in one. I wasn't quick enough to get him though. I was competing with 2 other collectors. :-/

Just wanted to let everyone know toys r us is doing a one day sale (today only) where the tractor tippin track set is $10 (reg $24.99) if anyone needs one. I think the deal is in store only and limit 2 per person.

Thanks for the tip. I had this on my boy's wishlist, but after reading reviews I didn't want to fork over $25, but for $10 it was worth it! As a bonus, I went to a Walmart nearby that I normally don't go to since TRU is about 45 minutes away and I found Snot Rot, Donna P. and Victor P., which were the first case H I have seen.
