I spoke to a helpful red shirt yesterday, and she said ALL stores must have their reset completed by Friday Aug. 3 or they get put on the naughty list!! lol

Went to my local target tonight (Evans GA) and they had all the micro drifters stuff in. I already ordered colossus online so I didn't get him but I did get the 4 different sets of the micro drifters they had and the micro drifter Mack. He was much smaller and narrow than I thought he would be but still cute and the price was right at only $15! They also had the take flight singles in.

Stopped by a Target, saw the Microdrifters on the shelf.
They had an odd assortment of Deluxes…3 Sub Finns, 1 Pope and 1 Pinion Tanaka. I'm assuming the last two were recent returns.

Our Targets also have the Pope, London bus and Pinion Tanaka, I'm thinking there's a Deluxe case that Target is getting as part of their Summer reset.

Sigh… went to a Target in Springfield IL and saw their pitiful assortment. They had done their reset, but all of the Micro Drifters and Collosuses (Collosuses?) were gone!  They also had 3 Take Flight Cars; 2 Maters and a Rescue Chopper that had a big scuff on his "nose."
Everything else were Finns and Finns and Finns…. and some Lightning McQueen Charge-up thingys.

Its so funny you said that the Rescue chopper had a scuff on its nose, all the ones i have seen are the same way, its like the case rubbed the paint off.

I was excited to see the new end cap…. not excited to see what was NOT on it!
I did go ahead and pick up Colossus though. Brought him home and gave him to my son and he really like him and had fun eating the micro drifters. So I guess it wasn't a total loss.
Oh and I saw a tag for a Disney Cars Spacewalk Adventure, can anyone tell me what that is?

At least your endcap HAD the Collosus, BlueMustang! The only thing mine had that your's didn't was the Hydraulic Radiator Springs Ramone 7 Pack. Everything else looked pretty much exactly like yours.

After work last night I decided to stop at Kmart to see if they had had a reset yet, but nothing. I almost passed on Target, but figured what the heck, I'll just stop and see how their reset wound up. Once inside the store, I came around the corner to the Cars aisle, but my brain did not compute what I saw for a moment as I tried to figure out why Duff Wrecks was hanging on the peg.
But then, like the current commercials for the new "Total Recall" movie, Duff Wrecks morphed in and out of the package to become Officer Murakarmi!! This is my first time finding this case in the wild, so I guess the visual was so overwhelming that I couldn't figure out who he was at first. Then I spotted Becky Wheelin' and Don Crumlin, and another Murakarmi and another Becky and another Don. It was a complete Case E — three Don's, three Becky's, and two Murikarmi's.
It felt like the Supercharged era all over again!
I went back this morning to see if I could relive the glory, but nothing new had been put out.

Visited the Somerville MA Target on Friday August 3. There was a new endcap
plus the normal display area looked updated. Luckily for all us collectors there was about 100 diecasts on the pegs. There were Finns, Race Team Maters, Petrov Trunkov and ????? Well I guess Mattel is borrowing the old line from Henry Ford-"They can have whatever color car they want as long as it is black".
Now in 2012, they can have a choice of over 100 cars so long as they need only Finn or Race Team Mater. Disappointed once again.

MY TARGET AS OF AUGUST 9TH, 2012
SINGLES: RT Mater, LM w/ Racing Wheels, Finn McMissile. Only good thing is that the person who moved the Cars to the other side of the aisle sorted them out so he put all the Finns together, McQueens together, etc.
DELUXE: @10 Sub Finn and 2 or 3 Hydro Finn
2-PACKS: @30 ZM Pitty, 5 or 6 Finn and Tomber, @10 Party Wheels LM and Francesco, 3 Guido/Luigi and Uncle Topolino, 1 Grem and Damaged Rod
4-PACKS: 3 racer packs (no exclusives) 1 Denise Beam and 1 Ronnie Del Cooper
7-PACKS: 2 Racing Rivalry, 0 Radiator Springs Race (in the cart right now)
CARS TAKE FLIGHT: 1 Autonaut Mater, 1 Stu Bop
CONCLUSION: Only good thing in my Target is the Grem/Rod and Guido/Luigi/Topolino 2-packs (3%)
