Also, in my fruitless search for the new Chase RS Ramone, I've noticed many Carson Pirie Scott stores with "new-ish" mega/deluxe stock, Pinion Tanaka cases, and Pope/PopeMobile cases. …Only for those willing to pay inflated department store prices for heavily stickered Cars. Happy hunting all

Opened McQueen this morning. Put batteries in…nothing, no lights, no talking. I returned it this afternoon. Very disappointed

The Disney Store has the RideMakerz Cars marked down to $19.99. I picked up McQueen today. They also had Francesco at my Disney Store but I passed on him. No Mater or Rod. They are also on the Disney site, same price. I haven't decided if I'm going to take it out of the package. If I do, I'll post a photo. I did see this in person at Disney World a few months ago, it is really cool. I almost bought it then but I thought the price was too high but $19.99 is a good deal.
For anyone into Toy Story, the Hawaiian Vacation Jessie 16" was $29.50 marked down to $9.99. Looks like Hawaiian Woody is already sold out.

That stinks, Micky.
In other news, a Kohls near me finally restocked singles after nearly 2 months of zero(!) singles with…. 2012 Case B. Notables from the case for those who aren't keeping track: Mel Dorado, Hudson Hornet Piston Cup McQueen, and plastic tire Shu. They all had the "thick" cardbacks, IE no angled cut on the sides of the card. I left plenty on the shelf; this is the Touhy/McCormick mall by the way, for locals. Golf Mill Kohls still had the same old crummy stock of pull-backs, 3-packs, launchers…. Did find a nice 5-pack of Matchbox Volkswagens at TRUs, which includes a classic bug, for a rainy day.

I found the 2012 Cars Easter Eggs at Meijer on Thursday night, 2/23/12… They scanned at $7.99 so I ended up not buying any of them… if you haven't found them at a grocery store and want them, check out Meijer if you've got one (Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky).

I'm replying to my own post LOL 
Anyway…
went back to Disney Village. This time I bought the Jeff & Carla launchers. Not much left. Had to hunt for 2 good packages and especially a Jeff without paint defects. Also picked up Chase Ramone for $6.95 each. Pope & Popemobile's gone.

I found a Chase Radiator Springs Ramone at a Carson's store this morning… it was $5.99 plus tax… it had been over 3 months since I last found a new single in a store (Hudson Hornet Lightning McQueen at Kohl's in mid-November)…
They had other Cars from that case but I already have them on the first cardback and I'm not buying every Car on every cardback this time around.
Carson's, Bon-Ton, and Elder Beerman are all part of the same retail chain…

Fiiiiiiinally found one Chase Ramone today at Sears (Cicero/Irving Park). Missed him, but saw the rest of the case at Carson's (H.I.P.). No sign of this case here otherwise. Thanks to John of MO for the Sears tip. Good luck all

Went to TRU just for the heck of it and found damaged red torque and Grem 2 pack. I only need tyler and leland turbo from cars 2! I was shocked they had new ones for the first time in months. Also there were Mel dorado and uncle topolino pack with luigi and Guido.
Couple of weeks ago I was lucky to snag John Lasetire and Carla crew chief at Kmart in Long Island. There were also plenty of rubber tire cars 2 cars except for Shu and Francesco

Found my first Chase Radiator Spring Ramone at Bergners in Quincy, IL. Sadly, they wouldn't price check it so I had to pay $5.99 for it.
