If you don't mind me asking, where are the cars typically located in your local sears store? My local sears doesn't have a toy department so I'm curious 🙂 thanks in advance.

Pretty excited right now! The lady I bought from off of Craigslist a while back with all the car stuff sent me a text that she was finally ready to let go of her rarest car stuff and wanted to know if I wanted it, I said YES!!! So for $60 I got the disney store frank, comic con Tokyo drift mater, comic con fire rescue mater with Mia and Tia, comic con Storm McQueen (sorry if I got any of the names wrong), all new in box. It's about to kill my son to open the disney store frank but I have been told it breaks easily. Anyhow we are excited!!!

The first time I checked at my Sears, I couldn't find toys any where. I asked an employee and he said "Uhhhh, we don't have toys…. well I guess we have some stuff over by the photography area"Â
I walked over and found ONE small lonely spinning rack of toys with some girl stuff on one side and the other side was half hot wheels and half Disney Cars. I have found some neat stuff there including Don Crumlin. They usually have a very small, but very diverse selection. Definitely worth it to check it out every once in a while. Â

I stopped at 2 Sears this weekend and both of them had Vlad Victor cases … sigh … no GGG for me this weekend

Guess this is an old thread.
Thought I'd mention that the Big Lots by me got a new shipment of Take Flights. Â Never seen them there before – but they had pretty much all of them: LMQ autonaut, Mater autonaut, propwash junction plane, falcon hawk 1, falcon hawk black, LMQ hawk. Â They were priced at $7 each.
Â
Had them all, so left them on the shelf.

Wow, that is crazy that Big Lots had all the Take Flights. They seem to be selling well, I wonder how they ended up at the consolidator so soon?
Mattel probably sent the Take Flights to Big Lots by accident when they were supposed to send them all the stale Deluxe Finn cases!

i stepped into a Five Below which is some sort of dollar-like store and found all the Finn McMissiles that were taken from various big box retail stores…at least a few hundered of them…marked as $3.50. haha good luck selling those!

If they are selling Finns for $3.50 Mattel must have paid them to take them!

I have found toys at Sears at both the Sears Grand at Washington and 164th. That store has maybe two 1/2 aisles of toys. They sometimes have a great selection of Cars merchandise and sometimes, none. The other Sears that I have found Cars is at the Aurora Mall which is located in the kids clothes section. Not much, though. I haven't been to a Big Lots in awhile, I guess I will try one and see what I may find.

Found the disney car character encyclopedias today at SAMs (Augusta ga) only $14.27. Was nice to see them in stores! 🙂

Stopped in a store called Tuesday Morning today and they had 2012 Cars Easter Eggs there. The had McQueen and Rod. First time i have seen them in any store. 🙂

Saw the same at the local Tuesday Morning by me – all of the eggs there and a few other cars 2 cars along with a Squinkies cars dispenser. Â Left them all on the shelf.
Â
Also – had a good day at Disneyland yesterday – was able to find the purple sumo ref, funny car mater, Carlo Maserati, Galloping Geargrinder and the 2-pack Finn security guard. Â Pretty solid to pickup some cars that I have not been able to find.
