I know this thread is "Found on store shelves … Kmart" but this post is quite the opposite.
I decided to go to both of the K-marts we have here in this area in hope of buying some Deluxe Cars, but found nothing. In fact, both K-marts had no mention of the $.99 sale anywhere around the Cars areas. After looking more closely, not only were there no sale signage or a Deluxe Cars in sight, there were not even pegs for them. The only items for Cars were singles, synthetic tires, the water ones, and some of the larger Cars merchandise. Even still, the quantity of of the Cars line were slim. It seems like every time I go into either of them, the area is smaller and smaller.
Bottom line, I do not think I will be finding any deals at either of them… 
That's because I bought them all :p there was only one in the north augusta Kmart and it rung up for .99 so I took the receipt from that one to the Gordon highway location to price match and buy the two they had left (they were ringing up $4 there). I tried to see if walmart would price match but they won't since its not printed in the add. :/

Found a Pinion Tanaka to go with my Sub and Hydro Finns. Very exciting. Nothing published at any of my 4 kmarts. The register just rings them up at $.99. Must be 20 Finns still out there between the 4.

During the recent Kmart $0.99 singles sale, Walmart wouldn't even match the ad for me! So much for their ad match guarantee…

All they wanted to see in the ad was the part about all other Cars toys being Buy One Get One 50% Off. They assumed I wanted Cars for $0.50, but even when I said all I wanted was the $0.99 price for singles, they refused to do it. I had just seen one of their overhead TV's playing the Ad-Match guarantee and all I wanted to do was turn the TV into a pinata when I left the store.

LOL!!! I bet so. When I asked the woman at walmart if she would price match the Kmart sale she pretty much treated me like some kind of criminal like I was trying to scam her or something. It's almost not even worth it if they want to argue with you. :/

I can see from reading the previous posts that KMart has has some "great" sales. Pretty bad when you can't even give away stale product at real low prices.

That's a pretty good find. Of course I do not have a Kmart near me so I will be asking for help with them for sure. Wasn't Elvis a peg warmer back in the day? I use to see him at every Big Lots I stopped in a few years back.

Yes he was. We used to see them all the time at Babies R Us back when BRU had a tiny toy section.

I wonder if Cars bought before June 4 will qualify? The selection at Kmart has been terrible for so long its hard to spend $20; even with the new Deluxes.

I think that the $20 is anything Mattel cars related, not just diecast. Also, I think it is Kmart sponsored, not Mattel, so it might be anything cars related

Found 1 of each (1 case) at Kmart in Central Jersey. I confirmed with store clerk that this was the only case they received.
