Just in case, we dropped by Kmart this morning. The sale tags were still up, but expired. The pegs were jammed full of Cars; there were two full hangers full of singles as well. Nothing new or unusual, just a large variety of 2011-2012 models.
How sad that this much product 'survived' the $1.99/car sale unsold.

Last time I was at KMart a few weeks ago, I counted 42 cars. Â Also dropped by this morning, just in case. Â They now have 41 cars. Â Sad that $1.99 sale only netted in one purchase (and that assumes it wasn't bought some other time in the last few weeks). Â But if anyone needs Finn, Mater, Lightning and Francesco, let me know, I'd be glad to make a dent!

Picked up the add at Kmart this morning and used it at Target and Walmart.  Most of the associates were like "HOLY COW THAT IS A GREAT DEAL!!"  If you do end up going to Kmart, the Kmart cars are ALSO 99 cents.  Happy hunting all!  I sure hope Case F shows up in the next 7 days!!

I decided to go the Toys for Tots route and bought out my KMart for that price. Â They had about 40 on shelf, probably about 10 different characters if you throw in silver and rubber variants. Â Hoping they restock before the end of the week with something new.

That would be the one! Â Didn't realize there were any other collectors local to me. Â Would love to meet up and see if we can help each other out. Â I only buy one of each and my son opens and plays hard with them. Â If you actually wanted any of the ones they had at that price, let me know. Â Made the Danbury rounds yesterday to see if I could get anything good with price match, but no luck. Â Have to head out Waterbury way before the end of the week. Just left my local Kmart, the deluxe were supposed to ring up at .99 starting today but they are ringing up at $4 anyone else having this same thing happen?

Everyone else I have seen reporting on finds from the sale are saying they were indeed .99c. Even Kmart website had them for .99c this morning, not sure if any are left or not though?Â

I ended up going to another local Kmart and they had one Finn left at .99 so I went to the other Kmart and they price matched it so I got two more there. 🙂

The two KMart's I went to had the .99 tag on the shelf. Â One had no cars to buy, got two at the other.
Â
Also found Tolga 2-pack, first time seeing it in my area.

I know this thread is "Found on store shelves … Kmart" but this post is quite the opposite.

I decided to go to both of the K-marts we have here in this area in hope of buying some Deluxe Cars, but found nothing. In fact, both K-marts had no mention of the $.99 sale anywhere around the Cars areas. After looking more closely, not only were there no sale signage or a Deluxe Cars in sight, there were not even pegs for them. The only items for Cars were singles, synthetic tires, the water ones, and some of the larger Cars merchandise. Even still, the quantity of of the Cars line were slim. It seems like every time I go into either of them, the area is smaller and smaller.
Bottom line, I do not think I will be finding any deals at either of them…Â
