I thought they were expensive also. I will be passing for now, maybe they will eventually go on clearance and then I will get them, I think my son would enjoy having them to play his minis on.

This is the new Chase that is not suppose to reach the shelves until the 29th this month. You are lucky to have the opportunity to own this guy early!
The stores near me are sticklers to the rules.

It was always expensive but I don't recall it coming with three cars, especially ones that have not been released before. I seem to remember we got ours right after Christmas for 50% off plus free shipping. Its one one the best Cars items ever, but be really careful of the snap on conning tower. Ours has snapped off twice.

That does appear to be the combat ship from the first round, but I can tell you those cars are not the ones that cam with it the first time, they are NEW!! The first Combat ship came with Finn, Acer and Grem. These guys look like they have masks and torches!! COOOOL! I know there are a lot of folks that wanted this ship but he sold VERY QUICKLY the first time around!

It online yet so I will have to wait until I go on vacation the first of
January to see it, they have a disney store where we go.

Jeff is right, the boat did come with three cars. We bought ours on the Disney Store website using a 35% discount code plus free shipping. I don't think we ever saw it in the stores.

I just found this at one of the Disney Stores. It must have been a return. This series has not been sold for over a year.
Unfortunately he is missing his post card, but for $1.99 who can complain!

I just picked this set up today. It is a 20 piece set with some Cars 1 re-releases and others with metallic paint and announcers with headsets.
I used a "Mystery Card" that saved me 20% off of the $119.50 price tag.
