I bit the bullet and bought it today…the two are a real cut above the other DS cars, especially ones like the Queen that are just not well-detailed. These look to be at least as nice as Mattel's which I've only seen in photos. I'm an opener, and I just wanted a Pope and Popemobile, and now I have them. I paid about $20 more than I would have if I'd waited, but now I have them, and I really like them. No Popemobile ramp, but the Pope has gold wheels and a cute sculpted smile.

I recommend buying in-store, as the quality varies a lot, but I found a great set. What I hate is having all the extras I just don't want…such a waste. Mater is terrible, and I'm not into Lightning. Guido and Luigi are huge and meh, but Uncle Topolino is kind of nice and fortunately was painted pretty well. There's just something so demoralizing about buying and having cars you don't want!
