Thanks for the tip, we'll check our Marshall's. Even though its a dead line I hate to have only three of the four.

No problem. I think TJMaxx has the same stuff as Marshall's if that helps. Or is it Ross?

The TJX Companies, in the US, TJ Max, Marshall's and Homegoods.
Ross seems to be their competitor.
We have lots of all of them around us, but the stock is erratic, worse than Kohl's so having a siting at a MD TJ Maxx is still a good lead.
By-the-way, did you happen to notice if the Mater is a "pull-forward" (to go backward) like the bigger pull-back Mater? You may be the only collector to have ever seen one in the wild!

Just to be clear, I'm talking about the 1:55 scale pull backs not the large ones. Large Mater is easy to find.
1:55 pull backs came in the same packaging as diecast singles. Raoule, McQueen and Finn were in the first case and Mater is shown on the back of the card. I'm not sure a second case was ever released?

It is a 1:55 scale Pullback Mater. It looks like you pull him in the same direction as the McQueen one. Just saw another one in TJMaxx for $4. Good thing I didn't go back to Kohl's.

Bobby Jack, thanks to you we now own a 'complete' (all four cars) set of 1:55 pull backs. Checked a TJ Max and a Ross this morning, nothing. But at Marshall's this evening there was one pull back Mater, and down the road a second Marshall's had another Mater, a Finn and a Lightning. Maybe each location received one of each with Mater replacing Raoule in the second case? $3.99 + tax.
These were too expensive new for what they were and with all the unsold die casts I bet the second case was never shipped.

Our Kohl's have restocked their Cars pegs for Christmas with Quick Changers. Only singles are unsold Finns and Bernoullis from May 2011.
