A little underwhelming, especially the McQueen. Thanks for the info John, and congrats on being the first. It was starting to look like numbers 3 and 4 were never going to come out.

do we have the dpci # & price ???? were these found in the cars aisle ??? thanks
Corinne, here are the numbers on the boxes:
1/4 Radiator Springs 27084 93774
2/4 Tokyo 27084 93775
3/4 London 27084 95133
4/4 Porto Corsa 27084 95134
They were about $7.95-ish, basically you pay for the collector car and get a free puzzle. It took my four year olds all of two minutes to put together all four puzzles. The puzzles aren't challenging and they are very small too. (the road isn't wide enough to race 1:55 Cars on it)
If you aren't a completist I'd say grab the Bernoulli and pass on the McQ; especially if you already have the Finish Line Frenzy (silver) version.
They are in the puzzle area, very small boxes mixed in with all the other Cars puzzles. I think Met once said Mattel has a separate puzzle division?

The head designer after M came from games & puzzles and then went back after 8 months … probably the first item this person cranked out (took 3-minutes, went on schedule and budget as 2-month project? 🙂 ).

I will pick these up if I see them. I got the first one on sale at CVS for $3, the 2nd one in a trade. Haven't opened them yet, but my son is just now starting to be interested in puzzles, so it will be fun to open all four at once. Too bad they aren't wide enough to race on. He still stages a World Grand Prix on his play rug a few times a week.

My Target finally stocks the puzzles but, alas, only the Mater and Raoul ones. Can't catch a break here.

I've never seen them again; I wonder if they were recalled (defective packaging) and I happened upon two that escaped the recall? So far no one else seems to have found them.

I found #3 & #4 at a Target in Florida. Francesco in box was OK but McQueen was loose in his box.

Just an update. I've occasionally seen puzzles 3 & 4 at Target, always with the internal platform broken off.
TRU seems to have never received 3 & 4, I still see unsold 1s & 2s on their shelves. I used to move the puzzles over to the diecast aisle but that game got old eventually.
I predict there won't be any more made in this series.
