Here's my latest custom – Albert Hinkey. It took several weeks to conceive and make. The sign is held with magnets inside the RY. It can be removed and replaced instantly

That is some seriously nice work! Excellent sculpt and capture. Care to give any hints on the techniques and materials you used? I've held off on trying one due to the fact that he has no flat surfaces, every side bows in or out in some way.

built the frame by covering the cardboard frame with Bondo tiger hair then automotive putty. Teared out the cardboard once hte frame was hardened. Reinstalled the diecast frame by gluing it and filling the gaps with auto putty.
The mirrors, roof vents and tires are from a DS taco truck. he rest are built with auto putty, the air conditioning , the nose, windows, etc.

Aha! Cardstock and Bondo … would have neverthought of using that route, since I am an old hand at sheet styrene and Evergreen strip stock.
Now the question is, what is the heritage of the Dr. Frankenwagon? The headband and mirror are from a Doctor Mater? And what was the base diecast for the car itself?

The Dr. Frankenwagon was made by Disney Store in the Monster Mack set.
Seen here on the floor. The Dr is to the far right.

the DS store JL surf truck is a customs I made a while back. I made it from a green JL truck.
You'll also see a few other customs including a DS Apple car and a micro Apple car that I made somewhere in there. I made two versions of Trev the train, a leaping tongue McQueen, a Richard Petty Nitroaide racer, a texas tea chug, a lighted Radiator Springs billboard, a red ransburg McQueen and a red ransburg RS mcqueen.

Thanks! One has been found and purchased. Don't know how I missed that one — it was only available in the UK I take it?
