We're still stuck in mid-May out here in Portland, but keeping the faith that something cool will show up eventually. West coast represent.

Hey Huggy-Bear. I mean sodabear. Youre too young to remember him, eh?
I didnt want you to be the only Oregon person on here any longer. What happened to Eric? Maybe he will sell me his Cars collection cheap. Hope you had a good start to the new year!!!!

I am from PDX oregon area. New to collecting though so have lots to learn and even more cars to collect. I am open for some local trading or selling although with me it is more like selling/me buying since all I have to trade with is cash.

Woot! WS, you should join me and Lorri for one of our bi-annual "Cars Coffees"- we're definitely overdue for one. Lorri, Eric's still collecting, but when there's nothing out there to collect it makes it kind of hard to stay jazzed. Hopefully a couple of sweet releases will make their way out to PDX and suck him back in.

Where do these usually take place? I would most likely be interested.

They've been wherever the most convenient place at the time was. Once we met in Clackamas, once at Powell's downtown, once at a (gulp) Applebees….wherever strikes our fancy. It's been a while.

Applebee's? I didn't know you were a "corporate" type, Chris!
BTW, "I'm a lover, not a fighter."
Funny, the MD Chapter of T5 usually meets in a darkened corner of a parking lot somewhere!

Haha, yeah Applebees wasn't my choice. Too much like Bennigans, where I had the pleasure of working for several years. And believe me, we've had quite a few parking lot meetings as well, but whenever Lorri's around we gotta class up the scene a little. (:

Applebees does have a good Quesadilla Burger though. It weighs like 4 lbs though.
The PA chapter of Take5 normally meets at my house, but it's just me considering I seem to be the only serious collector within 2 hours of here. There are never any scheduling conflicts though…

We're, uh, we're actually required to wear fifteen pieces of flair.

To my fellow Ory-gunners: although he hasn't really been posting, Eric is on fire. Just this week he's found a cube at Fred Meyer (Pope, Popemobile, Mel Dorado, and Chase Ramone) as well as Security Finn and Sal Machiani 2-packs at Sears (!). So it appears there are actually some newish Cars out there. Go get em!

In Oregon, the Target at Mall 205 in Portland is having them on sale for 1.99 right now, they have a few of the new 2013 ones in there I have not seen elsewhere. I got a King and a Rusty and Sarge, a Rip Clutchgoneski, Kabuto and there were more there on the shelves when I left.
Just wanted to share with other Oregon folks.
🙂
