Hi Bmckim, I'm still on the car search like everyone else. Have you checked out the Disney store web site? They have some new sets, of course they are bigger scale, but they have crew chiefs with their racers, they have like 3 or four different sets. They also have one with Rip and Lassiter. I'm not sure if they are in the stores yet, I'm going to check that out on my way home, since I pass the Aurora Mall five days a week. Their sets are on sale now, but still a lot of money. Talk to ya soon.

i didnt know that there was a disney store in Aurora mall. yes i have found everything to date except the two packs of francisco and cheif, jeff gorvette and cheif, momma topolino…..i have not collected any disney stuff yet. i will be buying a set of the disney toons from a friend on T5 for my son as a x-mas gift. I need to see an update on the singles and two packs of cars2 just to make sure im up to date, i think i am though. Have you found hhlighting and mel yet?

Found Mel at a Wal-mart today. Phew! Left one on the shelf. They also had two sets of pope/popemobile. First time I've seen them in Wal-mart.

Hit four (Yes, four!) other Kmarts today. Nothing. 3 were absolute busts and one I had my first sighting of Pit Crew Filmore/McQueen. I wonder if the other crew chiefs were already snatched up.
Oh, and all of the LMQ Alive were gone too.

Probably the Crew Chief (Carla's) was snatched up or Mattel has never heard of the state of Colorado.  You have to be lucky and have good timing. My K-Mart got in around 5 or 6 Carla Crew Chiefs that I know of, I bought one, and they were all gone about 2 weeks later. On the Motorosi/Lassetire, you're not alone. I haven't seen them either.

I'm thinking Thorntn co. Kmart might have them. Stopped in today system showed 24 on hand 3 on shelf, so maybe they restock the shelf and tomorrow am I might get one..
Fillmore, are you in colo. as well? If so where?

12/26/2011–Found Denise Beam 4 pack at Target located at Havana and Mississippi in Aurora. Found it on a totally different aisle then where the cars are located. Also, saw the Tire talky set that comes with McQueen, cute, but all plastic. I am going to wait fro the diecast version.

I got a pleasant Friday the 13th. I work at the King Soopers at Parker Rd & I -225, a new case of cars 2 came in, including Mel Dorado and hornet cup mcqueen. Best part of it all was the price. they rang up at $.40 each. Couldn't pass that up, so I purchased almost the whole case for $6.42. That's including taxes. Woo hoo what a kick in the pants.
