Yep, that's the TRU. The Walmart was further east, around North and Cicero. I also stopped at the Walmart in Northlake, but they haven't had anything in awhile – mostly francessco's…

Ohh ok. when i went to the northlake, there was nothing new. I guess i'll head over to that one soon and check it out. Let me know if you spot anything new somewhere else because after being absent over a year, I got a lot of catching up to do 🙂

Yr welcome. Yeah, you are quite a bit behind eh? I do have some extra Cars 2 cars, but will have to organize and make a list. Please email me a list of what you are looking for, and refresh my memory – do you need loose cars, do you keep them on mint card?

It was a pleasure to meet you as well. i hope to see you again and help if needed. I did go to walmart and saw all the victors as well as trunkov and all the movie moments. yeah we missed out on the geargrinder. I'll check the one @ north lake. Maybe I"ll have some luck.

Stopped in the TRU on North Ave. today and they had some RS Classics. Still no Fab HH, but they had Chick, Shiny, Purple Ramone and RS LM. Pegs said buy 2 get 3rd free and a sign said all diecast buy 1 get 2nd half off. I grabbed some and asked which deal applied to these (I thought maybe they didn't count). Girl said it was the 1/2 off on the 2nd, but when they rang them up, both deals kicked in. So I got the first one at full price, 2nd half off and the 3rd free. I almost didn't even go because the traffic was so bad…

Guys, RS Classics have been in good supply at the local TRUs if you need any. They all combine the deals, so if you can find 3 you want it's a great deal. I also started a thread with my extras if you need some random Cars.

Well I hate to say it, but enjoyed miserable hunting far north of Chicago (Gurnee/Vernon Hills) this morning with Baby Manifold in tow. Best thing that happened were the ride-ons in the TRU lobbies! Between 2 TRU saw 1 RS Classic single, a Radiator Springs McQueen. 2 Sears yielded no Geargrinder. 1 Walmart and 1 Target had nothing happening. Otis, I feel you are pretty lucky to get that nice supply of Classics near you. The TRU nearest me finally restocked with like 2 or 3 cases (a full endcap), but guess what? All FHH and Dexters disappeared in a flash before I found them.
Kachow: great meeting up with you this weekend! I left you feedback on your brand new feedback page….

Yeah, it's strange to see the Classics in good supply. Granted, it's gotten to the point where most of what is left are RS McQueen and Shiny Wax.
I found a Lightning McQueen Hawk at Target the other day, first time I have seen one. I grabbed it, but I got 2 kids, so if I can't find another by Christmas I guess it will just have to find it's way into my collection…

Also wanted to vent that I missed out on Frank. I had been checking very regularly, checked in the morning yesterday from work, and then didn't check again until evening. Long sold out… Crapity crap crap.

Hey guys. Yeah, I've had nothing but slim pickings around here. Walmart is full of Franceso. TRU is always picked over guess I just have poor timing. If anyone starts seeing the 2013's will you let me know? I'm in the Chicago area and will travel for them.
In a trade I got a couple 2013's already.
I fear unless I get a case I won't be getting a RIP.

I've found case B stuff in suburbs but no Rips. Of course. For me it's not about the money so if I find Rips I will get extras and help out fellow collectors. Good luck everyone!

Same here… always willing to help out at cost for local Cars fans!! But 1 Rip per Chicago T5er out of a total of 16 Targets is not a good sign. Good luck all.
