I agree, I sold my last Kabuto for $50 about a month ago.  Kabuto Ninja went for $37.

Thousands of Cars available for trade or sale.  Always looking for older and harder to find Cars.  Email me at slicepie@roadrunner.com

Great lists! I have a few mentioned but not many! haha

One thing I always kick  myself about is back when I was just getting into collecting I was at Target and they had all their story teller packs on clearance, and I thought, "eh I don't really need those guys too" and I passed up bins full! Oh how I wish I could go back in time and buy them all!

I also passed up a Tyler Gremlin pack at Walmart because I had too much in my cart already…. and thought, oh they will have those forever. Curses!!!! Yell

Another thing, most Tokyo Mater Toons (especially Kabuto) seem rare. I think they were the last of the Toons to be produced.

Van San and Ito San were the Tokyo Mater peg warmers around here. I would say that Bye Bye Kar is the rarest besides Tokyo Mater w/ Oil Stains, he was mainly only found in Disney Land/World. I did amazingly find one though at my Wal-Mart.

BlueMustang, everyone has had those "'gosh darn it!"' times in their lives when collecting Cars. I passed up on a Dirt Track Doc and bought Lightning Ramone instead when they were in horizontal 3 packs. Then Lightning Ramone became a clearance single and Dirt Track Doc is now on e-bay for $30+. Also passed up Vinyl Toupee and Shifty Drug Haulers. And I regret not going to K-Mart Day 2 because then I would have every racer besides Apple.

Patokaa -   I saw a couple at Walmart, and passed them up since I had already  traded for 2.   It was a one shot case release.  A family member found quite a few Bye Bye Kars at a Walmart in Phoenix only one time,  I either missed her or my Walmart never got her in.

No one really know what will become a rarity until later.

Totally agree on Patokaa, he seemed common when he was around. We opened one and traded one, now they are selling for $30+!
