As Chicago Bears fans in NJ, it's often tough to come by toys and fan gear for our favorite team. I'm reaching out to my T5AD support group for help in finding the just released McFarlane NFL Series 30 Chicago Bears Matt Forte figure with the ORANGE jersey. We have a lot of Cars to trade or would gladly pay a more than fair price for this item, but are just looking to avoid the exhorbitant eBay prices. Stopped by TRU today after work and sitting in 2 hours of traffic only to find 7 of the 8 figures from the new case put out today and of course Matt Forte was the only one missing. We have a local retiree who raids all the local stores for collectible toys like McFarlanes, Hot Wheels and yes Disney Cars, so it's nearly impossible to find the collector level figures in the McFarlane series. I figure our best chance to get this one is through the help of our T5AD family who has helped us acquire many of the Disney Cars we never would have gotten. No, not a TRU exclusive, but the orange jersey version is limited to 1000 figures. Thanks for the quick response. Our local Walmart has stopped even selling these figures and Target only gets them every few months. Maybe one or two shipments of each case at best.

Tom, I have seen these figures at all the big retailers at one time or another, but regionally and locally I have seen a lot of them stop carrying them. None of my local Walmarts sell them anymore, but in other areas I still think they sell well. All the TRU in my area carry them, but since I'm at work early and home late, I pretty much have no shot at getting one with the collectibles "predators" in my neighborhood who hit the stores when they open. Many thanks to the good folks here who have offered to keep an eye out and help us find this one. Thank you.

I asked a friend of mine who works @ walmart this morning, but he just sent me a text saying there are out of stock, but will check if any other walmarts nearby might carry them. So i'll still be on the look out

You know, I think I saw him today at my TRU … I am not even sure why I noticed him there as I do not do these figures … but he was pegged in the front and I remember reading his name … I want to say he might have even had the Orange Jersey, but don't quote me on that. Does he only come in the Orange Jersey? It might already be gone, but I will call there in the AM and see if it is still there. I will get back to you as soon as I find out. Keep you posted!

Update … just checked the hours on my TRU and it was open until 10 so I called …. Forte was still there … but his Jersey was Blue …. are you only wanting the Orange Jersey Version??? Let me know, I sent you an email … he is on hold for me.

Thanks, Jeff. We were able to get the blue jersey version at another TRU today, but the orange jersey is the one we really want.
Also a big thanks to kachow95 for being on the lookout in the Chicago area.
Again, we really appreciate all the support and extra eyes out there trying to help us. Another reason T5AD is so amazing.
